Destacado is a main season honeydew hybrid with a very strong and vigorous plant with excellent fruit set. The fruits are large 1.8 to 2.7 kg (4-6 lb) and round with good internal quality - medium to small seed cavity with firm flesh. Destacado develops an external color changing from white to light yellow at maturity and was selected for improved storage ability.
