We are proud to have concluded another successful event with our friend and customer Rancho Los Pinos. The two-day event, with over 200 guests in attendance, included valuable presentations from leading experts and a field day. We are grateful to our wonderful host- the Rodriguez Family, our suppliers for trusting us with new genetics, and the expert speakers who enriched the seminar with their invaluable knowledge.
Last month we presented tomato varieties to producers in the region of Acatlán, Hidalgo. Among them were the varieties: AH 6189 which stands out for its color and firmness, and Benedetti a tomato of excellent shape and size.
One week from now will be our 23rd annual event with Rancho Los Pinos. We are proud to announce that this year the event will take place over the course of two days. Day one is lectures given by experts in the areas of Nutrition, ToBRFV, The Dumping Agreement, and Thrips and their diseases. Day two is the field day in our shade-house with 70+ tomato varieties on display, including beefsteaks such as SVTH2900 and Dioniso, Romas such as Mesias, La Gema, AH 6189 and Pai Pai, as well as specialties such as Top 1184, Lavico and Tannat.
Two weeks ago, the Ahern team attended the AMHPAC Congress and had the opportunity to talk with our valued costumer Alberto González, Director of Operations for Almerimex in La Comarca Lagunera and Hortioriente in the State of Puebla. He commented on the presentation made by the Director of International Purchasing of Walmart Mexico:
Last month, along with our partners from Seminis, we hosted an event where we offered talks on nutrition, and pest and disease control to 30 farmers, technicians, and consultants from Guaymas, Sonora. Thank you to all who joined us.
